With a focus on health and wellbeing, the AIA Vitality program rewards members with points for making healthy lifestyle choices such as completing a health check or nutrition assessment, or following through on a physical activity target.
Savings, benefits and charity donations

Caring for others
Since our AIA Vitality program launched in 2018, charity donations have steadily increased each passing quarter. From April to June 2019, our members donated close to A$1,000 to charity.
How can I donate through the program?
As a member, earn points by tracking your physical activity by steps per day, heart rate, speed or calories burned. If you earn enough points in a week, you can receive a weekly A$5 Active Benefit voucher to donate to one of four Australian charities.

“The Australian Cancer Council is a worthy cause, with cancer affecting far too many people. Donating the first week of every month is a good way of sharing a little of the benefit of the program I receive from completing the steps required. The idea to donate the first week of each month was given to me by another staff member, and I thought it was such a good idea I started doing it too.” Anonymous, CIMIC.
“By working out daily with my team in Sydney, I’m personally reaching my AIA weekly rewards of A$5. I have chosen to donate the first reward I receive each month to the Australian Cancer Council to give back to the community. My secret tip is when you know you only have a couple of hundred points to reach your daily cap, go for a short walk after dinner. I find it improves my sleep.” Manita Singh, EIC Activities Administrator.
“AIA Vitality is a fun way to get healthy and achieve your wellbeing goals. I would encourage others to do this because your physical and mental health is essential to a happy life at home and work. As a volunteer speaker for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, being healthy is a priority and not something I take for granted.” Claudia Kassis, Pacific Partnerships Contract Administrator – Bids.
