Roads Australia has announced the appointment of 29 new fellows as part of the 2020 National Fellowship Program.

Katherine Brewis, CPB Contractors Project Manager in the Victoria/South Australia/Tasmania business unit, is the first person from CPB Contractors to ever participate in the program. Her entrance into the fellowship follows a competitive selection process, based on her record of professional accomplishment, evidence of leadership skills and potential for further growth.

Launched in 2015, the highly regarded 12 month national mentoring program pairs industry leaders (Mentors) with managers of 10 to 15 years’ experience who exhibit strong leadership potential (Fellows). Mentors support fellows with career counselling, leadership development and professional guidance.

Key leaders include current and former chief executives of road and transport agencies and major private sector infrastructure companies, as well as senior political leaders.

The objective of the program is to encourage the next generation of professionals to develop leadership skills, build strong networks and stay engaged in the industry.

Commenting on the program Katherine said that she was very proud to be accepted as a Fellow and is looking forward to partnering with an industry leader to learn from their experience and unique insights.

Strategic thinking is an essential part of managing complex road projects with dynamic stakeholder environments, the Mentors in this program can support me in managing these projects.
