The “everyone safe” campaign aims to ensure our people get home safe at the end of every work day.

Safety is the main message as construction commences on Brisbane's Cross River Rail project.

With CIMIC Group companies involved in two of the three main infrastructure packages, our One HSE Culture framework is helping shape safety on the project.

The Cross River Rail Tunnel, Stations and Development project team, which includes Pacific Partnerships, CPB Contractors and UGL as part of the Pulse Consortium, has led the initial safety campaign promoting the theme ‘everyone safe.’

Pulse Chief Executive Officer Saori Peguicha said: "Our number one concern is for the safety of our people at all our work sites across the project.

We want to make sure that everyone on our team, whether they are employees or contractors, gets home safe and sound at the end of every work day.

Grounded in the One HSE Culture framework, the safety message has been communicated through project inductions, lessons learnt talks, posters and safety training sessions.

About the project

CIMIC Group companies are involved in two of the three main infrastructure packages for Cross River Rail:

  • Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD) public-private partnership (Pacific Partnerships, CPB Contractors and UGL): The Pulse consortium will deliver tunnelling works, four new underground stations and a surface station upgrade, and ongoing maintenance services for the Cross River Rail project
  • Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) alliance (CPB Contractors and UGL): Crucial to the overall delivery of the Cross River Rail project, the RIS package will deliver the design, supply and installation of the supporting rail systems and brownfield works to integrate Cross River Rail into the wider Queensland Rail train network.
